Mr. and Mrs. Faariel

The year 1010 is ending, and it has seen much change and upheaval. The Faeries have begun to paint the leaves and windowpanes with frost, and all the Trees are losing their leaves, lifting their bare arms to the eye of the Sun. Snow is starting to fall, and Father Christmas is checking his list. Thanks to the fairytales finding their way through Narnia, the country is filled with naughty and nice alike...and even some new terrors that go bump in the night...

Alice is just one of many to have tumbled into Narnia; she washed up on the beach last winter and was found by Chester the Cheshire Cat, who took her to the Cherry Tree Inn; he was chummy with its owner, Mr. Faariel. At the inn, Alice found a hearth to dry off and a hearty family to take her in. Now, she is the Cherry Tree's first delivery girl and the Faariels' own adopted daughter. Alice's favorite shop to deliver lunch to is perhaps the Clockwork Hattery, owned by one David “Hatter” Madigan – who, they say, is quite dashing...even if he may be a bit mad. Sanity aside, he may just be Alice's favorite form of company – followed closely by Robin Hood and the Cheshire Cat. Yet, although she has love for Narnia, her very blood beckons her back to her Wonderlandian roots, where an underground faction seethes, bent on crowning the Cherry Tree's modest inn-girl over the venomous Queen Meridel.

Haha, thanks! ^_^ I messed with their skin pigments for awhile, but finally decided redheads are just naturally supposed to look paler and more washed out than brunettes.

Oh, well. Beri rocks the fire-hair, it's cool. And you're welcome! I'm proud of this one because I love this couple...and because for some reason it's been hard to do manips for Kit or Shan, at least for me. Phineas and Serena refuse to work in an image. Aro and Marina are stubbornly difficult too. I'm glad my favorite older couple worked out!

I was probably the palest baby ever because I had Ariel hair out of the womb, I guess. >.> Which lightened to blonde when I was very small. Which later darkened to brown and then auburn after I hit puberty...and now that I've dyed my whole head three different Starburst colors at once, wtf knows what my hair color is. I think it's still auburn, but that shit has a history of naturally switching on me. I don't think anything but a total Goth look makes me look washed-out, though. I dunno, maybe other people should be the judge of that. XD

ROFL! I know. As my mom likes to remind me, I was born with curly red hair which promptly fell out and I was bald. Completely. Until I was 2. No matter how many cute pink outfits my mom put me in, people thought I was a boy. When I did get hair, it was "fairytale blonde" and straightt as a stick. I colored it so many colors (red, black, pink) over my teen years. When it grew in, it'd always be an 'dirty blond'. Then I hit my twenties and it faded to a mousy brown. Tell me, do I seem like a 'mousy brown' to you? No, I didn't think so...SO, I've gone for a platinum pixie cut!
I still miss the red sometimes.

No, but I like my hair when it's got more red in it, myself.

It happens more naturally in the spring and summer, but when it's not enough, I just color it. Haven't in awhile, though, because I'm trying to grow it out to...medieval proportions. Whatever that means. (i.e., the mess will stop growing when I finally cut it, but it's a battle with my friends around me 'cause they don't want me to). It's just like...hella thick and takes forever to wash. I can't handle all that being brittle and I dislike too much product, so I don't dye too often. Lol, okay, now that I've gone into my hair history, I won't mention the first dye job because of course it was godawful...
